CERAMIC TILE 'LEIBE', Winterthur, ca. 1650-1670. Love personified as a mother holding her child on her arm, entitled "Leibe", painted in the typical colours blue, manganese red, green and yellow. Provenance: Collection Dr. Meyer-Werthemann, Zurich.

Die hier als Mutter mit ihrem Kind auf dem Arm personifizierte Liebe, als 'Leibe' betitelt, zwischen Bandelwerk am oberen und unteren Rand, bemalt in den typischen Farben Blau, Manganrot, Grün und Gelb. 45x13,5 cm.
