A PARTLY GILT BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITAYUS SEATED ON A HIGH LOTUS THRONE. Tibeto-chinese, 18th c. Height 15.5 cm. Kalasha and consecration plate lost.

Feuervergoldete Bronze, die Hautpartien sind unvergoldet. Der gekrönte Herr des unermesslichen Lebens sitzt, die Hände in dhyanamudra im Schoss, auf einem hohen, in der Mitte verjüngten Lotossockel. Eine fünfblättrige Krone schmückt sein Haupt. Die Kalasha und die Verschlussplatte sind verloren.
