TAPESTRY "LA VISION DE SAINT BERNARD",known as a "tapisserie au point brodee", Renaissance, France circa 1600/20. "Monstra te esse matrem". H 280 cm. W 430 cm. Provenance: from a French collection. A highly important tapestry in good condition; expertise carried out by Cabinet Dillee, Guillaume Dillee/Simon Pierre Etienne, Paris 2012.

Monstra te esse matrem. Darstellung Heiligen Bernhard in Säulenhalle, vor Maria mit Kind kniend, im Hintergrund in einer Arkade Szene der Geburt Jesu. Feine Bordüre mit Engelsfiguren, Früchten, Blumen, Blättern und Zierfries sowie Monogramme AM (Ave Maria) und IHS (Jesus). H 280 cm. B 430 cm.
