LARGE BRACKET CLOCK, Renaissance, the movement ca. 1570 and possibly by J. METZGER (Jeremias Metzger, 1538 Augsburg ca. 1595), the later housing from the 19th century with coat of arms of the BAVARIAN DUKES from the 19th century, probably Augsburg or Munich. Bronze and brass, gilt. The base with depictions of Saint Joan and the Evangelists. Fine iron movement, converted to pendulum, with strike on 2 bells. Requires servicing. 26x18x55.5 cm. Provenance: private collection, Suisse romande.
