GILT BRONZE FIGURES OF BUDDHA AND GUANYIN STANDING ON LOTUS FLOWERS. Tibeto-chinese, 19th c. Height 28.5 and 30 cm.

Tibetochinesisch, 19. Jh. H 28,5 und 30 cm.
Schwere, feuervergoldete Messingbronze mit partieller Bemalung. Beide Figuren stehen auf einer runden Lotosblüte mit drei Blätterreihen. Buddha trägt die Swastika auf der unbedeckten Brust und eine Almosenschale in der Hand. Eine kleine Figur des Buddha Amithaba sitzt in Guanyin's Frisur, welche von einem Tuch bedeckt ist. (2)
