A BOXWOOD NETSUKE OF KAPPA ON A VENUS SHELL.
Japan, 19th c. Height 4 cm.
The eyes are inlaid and the cord holes ringed with green-coloured and natural ivory. Signed Suketada. Nicely carved and good patina.
