TABERNACLE WRITING COMMODE

Baroque and later, Southern Germany, 18th century.
Walnut, plum and burlwood, inlaid in rectangular reserves and fillets. Double-curved upper part, with a door with three drawers on each side. Central part with inclined, hinged writing surface, in front of six drawers and two compartments. Double-curved, commode lower part, with two drawers. Bronze mounts. 1 key.
126 × 61(85) × 192 cm.
