PANEL DEPICTING THE STANDARD-BEARER OF THE CANTON UNTERWALDEN

Switzerland, dated 1574.
Colored and colorless glass, red overlay glass, paintwork in schwarzlot and silver yellow. Depiction of a standard-bearer with the standard of the Canton Unterwalden, with a blue damask ground and an architectural frame. The shield at his feet replaced, the Imperial eagle on top. In the upper corners, the patron saints of Unterwalden, the Apostles Paul and Peter. Framed.
