Iron, in part blackened, one-piece skull with tall comb. Skull and cheek pieces with original brass rosettes.

A beautifully-designed and very well-preserved burgonet, of the type also used in the Swiss Confederacy, high-quality ironwork. Cf. Gessler: Waffensammlung Schweiz. Landesmuseum 1928, Plate 24.
