Chopard, "Happy Diamonds", very rare and attractive dress watch, 1970s.
The first "Happy Diamonds" watch was created in 1976, a spectacular innovation in diamond-set watches with its free-moving diamonds that glide and swirl freely between two sapphire crystals. This unique patented invention has been a signature feature of Chopard ever since.
Case: Flat polished case.
Dial: Gold dial, signed: Chopard Genève, surrounded by an onyx hoop on which 15 set diamonds move freely.
Movement: Fine manual winding movement.
