PAINTED IRON CLOCK WITH FRONT PENDULUM, Baroque, South German circa 1700. The sides painted with foliate cartouches, painted dial with brass chapter ring, verge escapement with iron and brass wheels and striking mechanism on bell. Paintwork re-touched. 14x14x21 cm. Provenance: O. Honegger collection Zurich.

Barock, süddeutsch um 1700.
Rechteckiges Gehäuse, die Seiten bemalt mit Blattkartuschen. Bogenförmiges, bemaltes Zifferblatt mit Messingzifferring für römische Stundenzahlen. Spindelwerk mit Eisen- und Messingrädern sowie Schlagwerk auf Glocke, hintereinander angeordnet. Bemalung überarbeitet. 14x14x21 cm.
