CHAIR. Louis XIV/XV, Sweden, beginning of the 18th century. Pierced and carved wood painted in black and gold, with fine worn leather covers with Moorish motif. 48x38x48x124 cm. Provenance: from a German collection.

Louis XIV/XV, Schweden, Anfang 18. Jh.
Holz durchbrochen und beschnitzt mit Blumen, Kartuschen und Zierfries sowie schwarz/gold gefasst. Trapezförmiger Sitz auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit durch H-Steg verbundenen vorderen Voluten- und hinteren Balusterbeinen. Hohe, flache und jochförmig abschliessende Rückenlehne. Feiner, gebrauchter Lederbezug mit Mohrenmotiv. 48x38x48x124 cm.
