CRATER VASE, Apulia, probably 4. century BC Orange-red clay with black varnish; painted with figural scenes and dolphins. Some chips and restorations. H 26 cm. Provenance: - Acquired in the 1960s in Zürich. - Private collection, Zürich.

Orangeroter Ton mit schwarzem Firnis; die Schauseiten bemalt mit Figurenstaffage und Delphinen. Kugelförmiger Gefässkörper mit ausladender Lippe und kleinen Henkeln auf profiliertem Rundfuss. Bestossungen und Restaurationen. H 26 cm.
