OVAL PLATTER WITH REED HANDLES FROM THE SWAN SERVICE, Meissen, circa 1740.Model by Johann Friedrich Eberlein, 1740. The well relief-decorated with two swans in the reeds, the ribbed sides with shell decoration, painted with small Indianischen Blumen and crowned with the Brühl-Kolowrat-Krakowsky coat of arms. Underglaze blue sword mark, impressed number 27. D 38.3cm. The gilding on the edge missing. The gilding on the handles of a later date.
