Lot 1557 - A142 European Porcelain & Ceramics - Monday, 17. September 2007, 03.30 PM

CUP AND SAUCER, Frankenthal, circa 1762-70.Each piece with a gilt rocaille cartouche enclosing landscape scenes with figures in Purpur Camaïeu, with purple scattered flowers and border in gold. Crowned CT Monogram and 7 and B in underglaze blue, incised mark B2 on both pieces. Minor repair on the edge of the cup. Provenance: from a Swiss private collection.

Jedes Stück mit einer vergoldeten Rocaillekartusche, darin Landschaftsszenen mit Figurenstaffage in Purpur Camaïeu, purpurne Streublumen und Lanzettbordüre in Gold am Rand. Bekröntes CT Monogramm und 7 bzw. B in Unterglasurblau, Ritzzeichen B2 auf beiden Teilen. Minimale Reparatur am Tassenrand.
