TRIPLE-HANDLED AMPHORA, known as a "Campanische Hydria",Decorated by the painter "CA" Lower Italy, 300 BC Fired clay. The sides finely painted with women at a grave. H 46.5 cm. Provenance: - Galerie Arete, Zürich. - from a French private collection, acquired in 1972 with expertise. Very good condition.

Bemalung des sog. "CA-Malers", Unteritalien, 300 v. Chr.
Gebrannter Ton. Amphorenförmiger Gefässkörper mit 3 Henkeln, schmalem Hals und ausladender Lippe auf leicht profiliertem Rundfuss. Die Seiten fein bemalt mit Frauen an einem Grab, Kranz und Ciste sowie mit reichem Palmettenmotiv. H 46,5 cm.
