POT POURRI WITH FLOWERING TREE AND FIGURES, Meissen, circa 1745. Gilt bronze mounts. Paris circa 1750. Model by Johann Friedrich Eberlein. Underglaze blue sword mark on the back of the base. H 26.5cm. Lid missing. Restorations. Provenance: - Private collection, Hamburg. - Private collection, South Germany. Exhibited: 'Meissener Porzellan des 18. Jahrhunderts aus Hamburger Privatbesitz', Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg, June 4 - September 5, 1982. Illustration in catalog of the same title by Hermann Jedding, Hamburg 1982, Ill. No. 171.

Paris um 1750. Modell Johann Friedrich Eberlein. Modelliert mit einer balusterförmigen Vase mit Korbrelief und durchbrochenem Hals mit vergoldetem Bronzeabschluss, umrankt von einem blühenden Baum auf dem ein Affe balanciert, über einem Felssockel mit vergoldeter Bronzemontierung, darauf eine Dame mit Putto und Blumenkorb an einen Felssockel gelehnt. Unterglasurblaue Schwertermarke an der Rückseite des Sockels. H 26,5cm. Deckel fehlt. Restaurierungen.
