CASKET, known as a "Messebuchkästchen",Renaissance, probably France or Spain, 15th/16th century. Finely pierced iron plaques on wood. The rectangular casket with double lock and gothic architectural motifs. Lined inside with old paper. 33x23x14 cm. Provenance: Swiss private collection. Fine casket in almost untouched condition. Two almost identical caskets were sold in Koller June auction 2004 (lot 1001) and December auction 2006 (lot 1019)
