CASKET, known as a "Messebuchkästchen",Renaissance, probably France or Spain, 15th/16th century. Finely pierced iron plaques on wood. The rectangular casket with double lock and gothic architectural motifs. Lined inside with old paper. 33x23x14 cm. Provenance: Swiss private collection. Fine casket in almost untouched condition. Two almost identical caskets were sold in Koller June auction 2004 (lot 1001) and December auction 2006 (lot 1019)

Renaissance, wohl Frankreich oder Spanien, 15./16. Jh.
Fein durchbrochene Eisenzierplatten auf Holz. Rechteckiger Korpus mit doppeltem Überfallenschloss und Architekturgotik. Inwendig mit altem Papier ausgeschlagen. 33x23x14 cm.
