PAIR OF WALNUT ARMCHAIRS,Baroque, probably Italy, 18th century With turned columnar legs joined by stretcher. The flat and fully upholstered backrest with corresponding armrests on supports in the form of fabulous creatures. With polychrome "Gros Point" covers with flowers and leaves and decorative nail work. 60x41x50x88 cm. Provenance: Private collection Zurich

Barock, wohl Italien, 18. Jh.
Nussbaum profiliert. Rechteckiger Sitz auf gerader Zarge mit markant gedrehten, durch H-Steg verbundenen Säulenbeinen. Flache, ganz überpolsterte Rückenlehne mit entsprechenden Armlehnen auf Fabelwesenstützen. Polychromer "Gros Point"-Bezug mit Blumen und Blättern. Dekorativer Nagelbeschlag. 60x41x50x88 cm.
