NABESHIMA BOWL.Japan, Edo Period, D 15.3 cm. Two medaillons with stylized chrysanthemums and alternately coloured leaves. Radial pattern originating therefrom. Additional medaillon on the rim. On the back: three-fold shippo motif with ribbons. The foot ring features a crest pattern (kushi-e).
