PAIR OF BERGERES "AUX BUSTES DE FEMMES", Empire, probably by F.H.G. JACOB-DESMALTER (Francois Honore Georges Jacob-Desmalter, 1770-1841), Paris circa 1810. Mahogany carved with women's busts and frieze. Pale yellow striped silk cover. Seat cushions. 65x44x48x94 cm. Provenance: - From a very important German private collection.

Empire, wohl von F.H.G. JACOB-DESMALTER (François Honoré Georges Jacob-Desmalter, 1770-1841), Paris um 1810.
Mahagoni beschnitzt mit Frauenbüsten und Zierfries. Trapezförmiger Sitz auf gerader Zarge mit vorderen Tatzen- und hinteren Säbelbeinen. Eingerollte Rückenlehne mit gepolsterten Armlehnen auf Karyatidenstützen. Hellgelber, gestreifter Seidenbezug. Sitzkissen. 65x44x48x94 cm.
