Die ausserordentlich delikaten Bronzen und die feine Marketerie weisen auf eine bedeutende Pariser Werkstatt der Jahre um 1900 hin. Ähnliche Kommoden sind aus dem Atelier von F. Linke bekannt, der sie in meisterhafter Weise nach Vorlagen aus dem 18. Jahrhundert fertigte und dem aktuellen Zeitgeschmack anpasste. Ähnliche Kommoden sind abgebildet in: C.
