The case, Louix XIV, Paris, 18th century. The movement and dial, 19th century, with signature 'Balthazar à Paris'.
Wood, applied with brown dyed tortoiseshell. FIne bronze dial with 12 enamel cartouches for the hours. Two blackened hands. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Fine, gilt bronze mounts and applications.
32 x 15 x 55 cm.
