LARGE PORPHYRY MORTAR WITH PESTLE,Louis XVI, probably Russia circa 1800. Porphyry with matte and polished gilt bronze. The inside with small, blue-painted metal container. The pestle with lead head. Some chips, the bronze mounts partly replaced. Vessel H 38 cm, Pestle H 21 cm.

Louis XVI, wohl Russland um 1800.
Porphyr sowie matt- und glanzvergoldete Bronze. Zylindrischer Gefässkörper mit schmalen Henkeln, mit durchbrochenem, kurzem Hals und gewulstetem Rundfuss, auf mehrfach eingezogenem Sockel. Inwendig mit kleinem, blau gefasstem Metallbecken. Balusterförmiger Pistill mit Bleikopf. Bestossungen, die Bronzemontierung teils ergänzt. Gefäss H 38 cm, Pistill H 21 cm.
