A PAIR OF IMPOSING BALUSTER-SHAPED VASES "POUR TORCHÈRE" IN THE GOÛT CHINOIS

France, 2nd half of the 19th century. With incised signature BL.V.R.2 on the lip and Sèvres mark in an oval frame.
Porcelain with blue glazing and bronze. Baluster-shaped vases with tall, funnel-shaped necks, mounted on a gilt bronze base. Bronze mounts designed as a knotted cord, the ends with tassels. Metal bottom in the vases at the beginning of the neck.
H 108 cm, Ø 50 cm and H 103, Ø 50 cm.
