Hamburg, 1948–1950. Maker’s mark of Ferdinand Richard Wilm, executed by the silversmith’s workshop H. J. Wilm.
Comprising coffee pot, teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl, together with a later associated tray. Slightly bulbous form on a conical foot ring. Flat lid with spherical wooden finial. Curved wooden handle tapering to a point below. The shallow tray of oval form with raised, slightly domed rim. Hammered throughout.

The small lidded tankard designed in the Historicist style, with repoussé figural decoration to the sides and cover. Six individual ashtrays of oval form with ornamental border and relief putti heads. The other six individual ashtrays of softly rounded triangular form with engraved initials “AS”. The ashtrays of lobed outline with moulded rim, cigarette rests and engraved name to the reverse.
