DEMI-LUNE CHEST OF DRAWERS,Louis XVI, probably Russia circa 1780. Fluted and shaped mahogany chest with fluted angles, 3 drawers at the front, the top one being narrower, 1 door at each side, exceptionally fine matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and sabots and a white/grey speckled marble top. 135x64x94 cm. Provenance: from an important Paris collection.

Mahagoni kanneliert und profiliert. Abgerundeter Korpus mit vorstehenden, kannelierten Eckstollen auf gerader Zarge mit markanten Säulenbeinen. Front mit 3 Schubladen, die oberste schmäler. Seitlich je 1 Türe. Ausserordentlich feine, matt- und glanzvergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -sabots. Weiss/grau gesprenkelte Marmorplatte. 135x64x94 cm.
