TAPESTRY "LA DECOUVERTE DE MOISE", Baroque, with monogram A under lily, after designs by S. VOUET (Simon Vouet, 1590-1649), Amiens circa 1630/50. Depiction of the discovery of Moses in an idealized park landscape. H 348 cm, W 335 cm. Provenance: - Swiss private collection. - Koller Zurich auction, 3.12.2008 (Lot No. 1119). - From a European collection. A fine tapestry in a good, restored condition.

Darstellung der Auffindung des Moses in idealisierter Parklandschaft mit Tempel und Fluss. Ausserordentlich feine Bordüre mit 4 Medaillons mit Portraits bzw. Putti sowie Blumen, Blättern, Maschen, Thyrsusstäben und Rocaillen in Kartuschen. H 348 cm. B 335 cm.
