PAIR OF GUERIDONS "AUX GRIFFONS" WITH MALACHITE,
in the style of Louis XVI–Stil, after designs by P. GOUTHIERE (Pierre Gouthière, 1732–1813/14), probably Russia, 20th century.
Malachite, and gilt and burnished bronze. Octagonal, slightly protruding top, edged in pierced brass, connected to a shelf by griffin–shaped supports. On paw feet. D 70 cm. H 86 cm.
