Gouache und Gold auf Papier. Shahjahan sitzt auf einem kostbaren kleinen Teppich, ein Falke sitzt auf seiner behandschuhten Rechten. Hinter ihm öffnet sich der Raum durch ein Spitzbogenfenster auf eine Landschaft mit Brücken und einer Stadt im Hintergrund, die durch einen See vom Palast des Kaisers getrennt ist. Min. besch.
