OCTAGONAL VASE.China, 19th century. H 34.5 cm. Rounded body with stepped shoulder and outwardly curving neck. Relief-decorated fruit on both sides. Sang-de-boeuf glaze, which is transparent on the borders and the fruit. Nice shape and beautiful colour effects. Restored chip on foot. Acquired in 1949 at an art dealership in Basel. With invoice.
