DIAMOND AND PEARL BROOCH, ca. 1910. Platinum over yellow gold. Very decorative, large brooch, in the shape of Mercury's staff, the staff with its two entwined snakes and the wings completely set with 184 old-mine cut diamonds totalling ca. 3.50 ct, a pearl of ca. 10 mm Ø on its top, 4 small emeralds for the eyes of the snakes. Removable brooch part. L ca. 9 cm.
