IMPORTANT CLOCK "LE CHAR D'APOLLON",Empire, from a Paris master workshop, circa 1810/20. Matte and polished gilt bronze in two tones, burnished bronze and partly silvered bronze, also "Griotte Rouge" marble. With Apollo in a chariot drawn by 2 horses. The clock with a bronze chapter ring with paste ornament and Paris escapement striking the 1/2 hours on bell. 55x15x56.5 m. Provenance: - Ader/Picard/Tajan auction 1988. - P.
