GAMES TABLE "AUX PATTES DE LIONS",Regency, England circa 1825/45. Rosewood and various precious woods in veneer, inlaid with chessboard and fine brass fillets. Brass rail and removable central top revealing a backgammon board. Front with 1 drawer with leather-lined, hinged surface and 6 different sized compartments, some with lids, and 1 small glass inkwell. 1 additional drawer with semi-oval sewing basket covered with light fabric. Central locking. Bronze mounts. 84x48x79 cm.
