GROUP OF CHILDREN WITH WINE BARREL AS POT-POURRI HOLDER, MEISSEN, CIRCA 1760.Allegory of Autumn, comprising a group of children at the grape harvest. Two children on the lid and the rocaille plinth heightened in gold and with applied flowers and leaves. Underglaze blue sword mark. H 22.3cm. Provenance: Private collection, Switzerland

Eine Allegorie des Herbstes, bestehend aus einer Gruppe von sieben Kindern bei der Weinernte um ein Fass gruppiert. Der durchbrochene Deckel bekrönt von zwei Kindern, auf einem Rocaillesockel gehöht in Gold und appliziert mit Blüten und Blättern. Unterglasurblaue Schwertermarke. H 22,3cm.
