Detachable front with arched window for 2 rotating, dark blue enamel rings. Rare, exceptionally fine spring-driven brass movement with complex trigger for the clockwork and striking mechanism. Rich, very fine gilt mounts and applications in the form of a relief plaque depicting a sacrificial scene, garlands, branches, flowers, rosettes, acanthus decoration, beading and decorative frieze. 31.5x17x52.5 cm.
