RARE SILVER-GILT 'TRINKSPIEL' CUP FORMED AS A MONKEY WITH TWO YOUNG. Augsburg 1600.Goldsmith mark Augsburg (BZ Seling 029). Maker's mark on neck fitting and base: LT (over another mark) Lorenz Tittecke Nuremberg. H 18.2 cm. 789.2 g. Provenance: Private collection, Zurich. With expertise by Professor Dr. Ernst-Ludwig Richter.

Goldschmiedezeichen Augsburg (BZ Seling 029). An Halszarge sowie an Sockel. Meistermarke LT (über eine andere Marke geschlagen) Lorenz Tittecke Nürnberg.
Standplatte von ovalem Grundriss, naturalistisch gestaltet, mit pflanzenbewachsenem Terrain, Eidechse und Schlange. Darauf sitzend ein Affe in kräftiger Plastizität. Allseitig fein ziseliert das Fell darstellend. In den Armen ein Junges mit zurückgeneigtem Kopf und auf dem Rücken ein Junges einen Kürbis haltend. Alle Affen mit umlaufendem Gurt. H 18,2 cm. 789,2 g.
