Very decorative brooch designed as a peacock, the wings set throughout with tsavorites, yellow sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds, the body and the head set with numerous violet and blue sapphires and brilliant-cut diamonds, colour-graduated. The beak additionally decorated with orange sapphires and 1 navette-cut ruby cabochon as an eye. Total weight of the sapphires and tsavorites ca. 13.70 ct, total weight of the diamonds ca. 2.10 ct.
