PUTTO AND SALIÈRE, Meissen, circa 1740. Modelled probably J.J.Kändler with both hands carrying a shell and a dolphin between his legs, on a square base, crossed swords in underglaze-blue, 13,2cm, shell added, one arm restored. The model probably from the same period as the Swan service and most probably also by J.J.Kändler.
Das Modell stammt wohl aus der Zeit der Entstehung des Schwanenservices und ist damit wohl auch ein Modell J.J.Kändlers.
