COVERED BRONZE VESSEL "AUX CENTAURES",Renaissance style, Italy, 19th century Decorated with depiction of a battle between Lapithen and centaurs, the lid with Hippodameia on the back of Eurytion. H 32.5 cm.

Bronze brüniert. Ovale Gefässform mit abnehmbarem Deckel und profiliertem Rundfuss. Die Wandung mit Darstellung des Kampfes zwischen Lapithen und Zentauren, der Deckel mit Hippodameia auf dem Rücken des Eurytion, im Kampf mit Theseus. H 32,5 cm.
