‘Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl’ is a 2003 American fantasy action film directed by Gore Verbinski, starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. It is a cinematic cult classic that lets you travel back in time, right into the golden age of pirates.

The story follows the eccentric pirate Captain Jack Sparrow and adventurous blacksmith Will Turner as they rescue the kidnapped Lady Elizabeth Swann from the uncouth crew of the Black Pearl, captained by Hector Barbossa. By retrieving the final pieces of an Aztec gold treasure, they attempt to break the curse which was laid on them back when they stole it.

Five coins of this ‘cursed gold’ are presented here, and are in very good condition. Made from aluminium, the stamping is beautifully done and shows great detail.
