D 25 cm.

The "Gotzkowsky" decoration was designed in 1741 by Johann Friedrich Eberlein (1695-1749) for a service commissioned for the Berlin merchant, Johann Ernst Gotzkowsky. The relief was also used on later services, for example with the coat-of-arms of Paris de Montmartel and Béthune, and with the coat-of-arms of Saint Andrew and the green Watteau service (den Blaauwen, Meissen porcelain in the Rijksmuseum, 2000, p. 342).
