ONE-HANDED LANTERN CLOCK WITH ALARM,

England, 17th century and later. The dial signed JOHANNES DENNIS MAIDSTONE.
Brass and iron. The dial engraved with flowers. The bell cage with pierced decorative elements featuring fish-like mythical creatures. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the hour on bell. Rear pendulum. Alarm removed, historic change of escapement.
15x18x41 cm.
