PAIR OF CANDELABRAS "AU CANARD",Louis XV, the bronzes Paris, the porcelain probably China, 18/19th century Matte and polished gilt bronze and blue-green porcelain. Featuring a duck on a pierced scrolled plinth with frogs, reeds and other plants. Fitted for electricity. H 39 cm. Provenance: Private collection, Germany.

Bronze matt- und glanzvergoldet sowie blaugrünes Porzellan. Ente mit Eidechse im Schnabel, auf durchbrochenem Volutensockel mit Fröschen, Schilf und anderen Wasserpflanzen sowie 3 geschweiften Lichtarmen mit blütenförmiger Tülle und blätterförmigem Tropfteller. Elektrifiziert. H 39 cm.
