GMELIN, WILHELM FRIEDRICH ( Badenweiler 1760 - 1820 Rome).Veduta principale delle grandi e piccole Cascatelle di Tivoli, e loro adiacenze... disegnat dal vero, ed incisa dal Gugl. Fed. Gmelin, a 1808. Etching, 48 x 59 cm. (Sheet size: 55.5 x 67 cm). Heller-Andresen 21. – Splendid, strong and even impression with broad margins around the clearly visible plate edge. Foxed and with light traces of handling mostly in the margins. Overall good condition. – From the collection of Conrad Baumann zu Tischendorf (2nd half of the 19th century).

Veduta principale delle grandi e piccole Cascatelle di Tivoli, e loro adiacenze... disegnat dal vero, ed incisa dal Gugl. Fed. Gmelin, a 1808. Radierung, 48 x 59 cm. (Blattgrösse: 55,5 x 67 cm). Heller-Andresen 21. - Prachvoller, kräftiger und gleichmässiger Druck mit breiten Rändern um die deutlich sichtbare Plattenkante. Überwiegend in den Rändern etwas stockfleckig und mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren. Insgesamt gut erhalten. - Aus der Sammlung Conrad Baumann zu Tischendorf (2.H.19. Jh.).
