WRITING TABLE,known as a "table a la glissiere", Louis XV, stamped RVLC (Roger Van der Cruse, maitre 1755), guild stamp, Paris circa 1765/70. Tulipwood, rosewood and partly dyed precious woods in veneer inlaid with flowers, diamond pattern and decorative frieze. Sliding top. The front with 1 drawer, the interior with leather-lined surface and 3 compartments for writing instruments. Gilt bronze mounts and sabots. Restorations. 61x40x72 cm.

Rosenholz, Palisander und teils getönte Edelhölzer gefriest sowie eingelegt mit Blumen, Rautenmuster und Zierfries. Geschweiftes, rechteckiges und schiebbares Blatt auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit hohen, markant geschweiften Beinen. Front mit 1 Schublade, inwendig mit braunem, goldgepresstem Leder bezogenem Blatt und 3 Kompartimenten für das Schreibzeug. Vergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -sabots. Restaurationen. 61x40x72 cm.
