SMALL WRITING TABLE,Louis XVI, stamped A. WEISWEILER (Adam Weisweiler, maitre 1778), Paris circa 1785. Burr thuya and ebony in veneer inlaid with reserves and fillets. The rectangular top edged in bronze, tapering octagonal legs on castors. The front with 1 drawer, the interior with leather-lined surface and 3 compartments for writing instruments. With contents. Gilt bronze mounts and sabots. 65x46x74 cm.

Thuya-Wurzelmaser und Ebenholz gefriest sowie mit Filets und Reserven eingelegt. Rechteckiges, vorstehendes und in feinem Bronzestab gefasstes Blatt auf gerader Zarge mit sich nach unten verjüngenden, oktogonalen Beinen auf Rollen. Front mit 1 Schublade, inwendig mit Leder bezogenem Tablar sowie 3 Kompartimenten für das Schreibzeug. Mit Inhalt. Vergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -sabots. 65x46x74 cm.
