Monogrammed and barely legibly dated to the right on the book: PC 1644. 77.2 x 109.5 cm. Provenance:–Sotheby's, London, 9.7.1998, Lot 38.–European private collection. Registered at RKD, The Hague, under number 17937 as by the hand of Pieter Claesz.
