GENTLEMAN'S WRISTWATCH, ROLEX OYSTER, CHRONOGRAPH, "MONOBLOCCO", ca. 1941. Steel. Ref. 3525. Tonneau-shaped, two-part case No. 150791 with slanted lunette, screw-down back and crown, round chrono pushers. Matte-finished, silver and champagne-coloured dial, black, luminous, Arabic numerals, bâton-shaped luminous hands, outer minute division, tachymeter and telemeter scale in km, small second and 30 minute counter, signed Rolex Chronograph, Astrua, (Agent name in Turin), Antimagnetic. Hand winder, Cal. 13"', Lever movement with Breguet balance spring, monometallic balance, chronograph with ratchet. Brown leather band with Rolex clasp. D 35 mm. Ref 3525 was one of the first chronographs and, at the time, was priced CHF 350 for the steel version and CHF 935 for the gold version. The watch is also known as "Prisoner Watch".

Handaufzug, Cal. 13"', Ankerwerk mit Breguet-Spirale, Monometall-Balancier, Chronograph mit Schaltrad. Braunes Lederband mit Rolex-Schnalle. D 35 mm.
