PAIR OF IMPORTANT CONSOLES WITH BOULLE MARQUETRY,Regence style, partially with older elements, after models by A.C. BOULLE (Andre Charles Boulle, 1642-1732), Paris. Ebony and brown tortoiseshell with exceptionally fine, engraved brass "premiere partie" and "contre partie" inlays in the style of J. Berain. The front with broad central drawer, flanked on each side by 1 drawer. Exceptionally fine, matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and applications. 120x69x85 cm.

Régence-Stil, teils ältere Elemente, nach Modellen von A.C. BOULLE (André Charles Boulle, 1642-1732), Paris.
Ebenholz und braunes Schildpatt eingelegt mit ausserordentlich feinem, graviertem Messing in "première-partie" und "contre-partie" in der Art von J. Bérain; Arabesken, Voluten, Blätter und Filets. Abgerundetes, leicht vorstehendes Blatt auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit 6 teils geschweiften, durch bewegten Umlaufsteg mit Zentralvase verbundenen Beinen auf Kreisel- und Volutenfüssen. Front mit breiter Zentralschublade, flankiert von je 1 weiteren Schublade. Ausserordentlich feine, matt- und glanzvergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -applikationen in Form von Satyrmaskaronen, Blättern und Zierfries. 120x69x85 cm.
